Picture traveling the same route, the same streets, everyday. Over the course of the years and decades traveled along the same route, change is seen abound. The buildings, businesses, houses, and the landscape itself experience a great deal of change over time - though it may occur slowly enough that those going about their everyday lives may not notice.

Frequent documentation makes these slow changes more readily visible. Most often taken from the road, the photos of a mail carrier record the routes and routines of essential workers, as well as local history. Over the span of 30 years, this is exactly what mail carrier Harold H. Speed, Jr. did over the course of his career.

This exhibit will run from May 6 through September 19. Come to our to our exhibit reception on May 8 from 5 - 7 PM to celebrate the opening!
