Exhibiting Artist Approval Process

Would you like to become an Exhibiting Artist at the Museum or Gardens?

It would be great to have you! We have several exhibit spaces for artists!

Inside the museum:

  • Lobby Floor: For 3-D art work

    37ftx39ft,~20 ft high ceilings

  • Lobby Floor panels:2D art work displayed on panels: Up to 9 panels, each 2ft 8inches x 9ft

  • Miller Gallery: 13ftx13ft. 31ft of hanging rail

    This room has hanging space on three walls. The fourth wall has a window out to the lobby area, and has a sideboard along that wall. There are two electrical outlets. There is space for approximately 24 large paintings to be hung.

  • Gallery 2: 12ft x 13 ft. 20ft of hanging rail

    This area is open to the lobby on one side, has a window to Franklin Rd, and is next to the library and marble teller counter.. It is next to the main entrance. It has a hanging system along one full wall, and has more hanging systems along the pillars between the window and the library. Items may also be placed on the teller shelf. It has 2 – 5 electrical connections.

  • Goins/Cox Gallery. 10ft of hanging rail along one wall.

  • Vault. There is hanging space and safe deposit boxes available. . 

    • 10” wide x 9 ½” high (10 available) 

    • 10” wide x 4 ¾” high (10 available) 

    • 10” wide x 5” high (7 available) 

    • 10” wide x 3 ¾” high (8 available) 

    • 4 ¾” wide x 3 ¾” high (16 available) 

  • Display Cases: Display cases are next to the vault

  • Pepper Street Grounds: In the grounds at the old location, outdoor art can be displayed here.

A  signed, written contract  is required before exhibiting in the museum.
