Carl Lefko
Carl's Honey Apiary and CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) began in 2015. As the project grew it now provides locally grown produce, honey and wax products.
Products at the museum include:
Candles
All of the natural wax comes from the Carl's Honey Apiary. The candles are dripless and unscented.
Honey
All of the honey is local to the New River Valley. No pesticides or chemicals are used on the farm. Most Spring nectar tends to produce a light to golden brown honey, however tulip poplar is very dark. Fall nectar tends to be on the darker side.
