Gerri Young

Gerri Young is an artist with deep roots in the Blacksburg area, where her love of art began during summers spent on her grandparents’ farm in Montgomery County. Even during her 18 years working in Germany, she remained connected to her creativity.

After returning to Blacksburg, she further developed her artistic practice and became active in the local arts community. She relocated in recent years but maintains a lasting connection to the region.

Gerri has worked in a wide range of mediums, including acrylic, watercolor, pencil, ink, and oil, with an interest in experimenting across techniques and subjects.
