Mary Ratliffe

Mary is retired and living in the New River Valley of Virginia. Her current passions are gardening, art and birding. She is a Virginia Master Naturalist and member of both the local and state bird clubs. Currently, she is working in acrylics and water color, as well as some glass mosaics. Her subject matter is primarily the flora and fauna of the New River Valley. She does like to occasionally paint more light hearted pieces like “A Great Hair Day” that show playful interaction between humans and nature.
