"I retired from nursing approximately three years ago and took up painting primarily in acrylics as well as developing an interest in photography, both self-taught. Through the encouragement of several fine local artists, especially Ruth Lefko and David Ferrell, and members of the Fine Arts Center for the NRV and the Blacksburg Regional Arts Association, I decided to join the Montgomery Museum of Arts and History and participate in the Arts NRV market. I love the natural beauty of Southwest VA and wildlife here and much of my art and photography attempts to share that."
